138 Coaching Centers Will Be Locked In Patna, Have You Taken Admission In Them?

The death of three candidates preparing for UPSC in the basement of a coaching institute in Delhi’s Old Rajendra Nagar has led to administrative action being taken against coaching institutes across the country. In the same sequence, the DM and other administrative officials have taken action against the coaching institutes in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Strict action has been taken against a total of 138 coaching institutes in Patna. The applications of those who do not conform to the coaching institute rules are rejected.

On Friday, DM Dr. An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chandra Shekhar Singh. The meeting was also attended by SSP Patna Rajeev Mishra, District Education Officer Sanjay Kumar and others. The meeting was informed that a total of 936 registration applications have been received from the coaching institutes. 413 of them have already been registered. Of the remaining 523 cases, 138 have been investigated. These coaching institutes were found to be ineligible and their applications were rejected.

The meeting also ordered to verify whether classes are being conducted in coaching institutes whose registration applications have been canceled in the district. If classes are held in such institutes, the officials there have to inform the administration and arrange for strict action.

According to the information, a total of 523 applications were pending, out of which 385 applications are being examined. Out of which 46 investigation reports have been received. Remaining 339 applications are under investigation. DMA has instructed the District Education Officer to take further action after examining the remaining applications. DM Doctor Singh said that the district administration has formed a total of 7 teams and sent them to inspect the coaching institutes. Meanwhile, he said that safety is the most important thing for students.
