The former MP blamed the administration

Meanwhile, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s descendant and former MP Sambhaji Raje said that we do not support the violence in Vishalgarh Fort. This is negligence and failure of the administration. We warned the administration that if the illegal encroachment on Vishalgarh fort is not removed, the situation may worsen. But the administration did not act. We also said that the FIR should be filed against us and not against the Shiva devotees.

Violent movement to remove encroachment

Let us tell you that the mass movement to remove the encroachment from Vishalgarh Fort turned violent on Sunday. Hindu organizations and Shiva devotees gathered in large numbers to protest the encroachment. At the same time, the gathering of people from the other side also began to increase. In no time the situation deteriorated to such an extent that stone pelting started. Shops were vandalized and attempts were made to set them on fire. At present, heavy police presence has been deployed in the area and the situation is under control.
