Sailors saved the girl’s life

A shocking case has come to light from Ghazipur in UP. The Ganga river that flows through the city is in full swing these days, so even the best swimmers don’t want to mess with the Ganga’s waves. But late in the evening something happened that made everyone grit their teeth after hearing and knowing. On Wednesday evening, a girl was sitting near a cremation ground on the banks of the Ganga when suddenly her foot slipped and she fell into the Ganga. Then she drifted off and reached Sherpur village, 30 km away, all the while shouting ‘Save me, save me’.

Hearing this sound, the people of the Malla community on the boat rescued the girl by pulling her out of the Ganges. The mentally challenged girl Garima is a resident of Biron area. Family members say that whenever he starts getting headaches, he doesn’t understand anything. In the meantime she reached Ghazipur from Biron and sat on the banks of the Ganga near the cremation ground. Suddenly her foot slipped and she fell into the Ganga.

The girl kept drifting for 30 kilometers

In the meantime she could not understand anything and kept drifting with the waves. She also knew how to swim a little, so when she reached the village of Sherpur, she saw some boatmen there and raised her hands and shouted ‘Save me’. The sailors on the boat then pulled him out of the river Ganga, saving his life. Despite falling into the Ganga and being swept away for about 30 km, the girl was found to be fully recovered when the boatmen pulled her out. People are considering this as a miracle. Bhanwarkol police also reached Gangaghat on receiving information about the incident and after giving first aid to the girl, informed her family and took her to the police station.

The girl’s family also reached the police station after a few minutes and took the girl back to the village with them. Bhanwarkol police station chief Vivek Kumar Tiwari said that he received information that a girl was floating in the river Ganga, on which he immediately sent constables Sushil Kumar Pandey and Jitesh Kumar to the banks of the Ganga, where the girl was pulled out with the help of boatmen. Garima was rescued and after informing her family, she was sent to the village with them.
