30 Feet Long Wall Collapses On Top Of House In Mumbai, 2 Laborers Killed

Two people have died and one has been seriously injured in the accident due to a wall falling in Kalbadevi area of ​​Mumbai. After the accident, fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and started rescue operations. Many people are reported to be trapped inside as the wall collapsed. After which local people immediately reached the spot and informed the fire brigade. After this the rescue operation was started.

According to the officials, the compound wall fell on the neighboring house which led to the mishap. The accident took place on Monday around 2.30 pm. The incident took place in the Gandhi Building built in Chira Bazar in Charni Road area. Officials said that there was a compound wall standing here which was about 5 to 7 feet high and about 30 feet long. The wall, weakened by heavy rains, collapsed. Due to which this accident happened.

As soon as the information was received, the Mumbai Fire Brigade started rescue operations. The rest of the people were evacuated from the entire area for safety reasons and the debris was carefully removed with tools to check for possible people buried under the debris. The junior engineer of C ward said that the workers working near the wall have been affected by this wall.

During the rescue at the spot, two bodies were pulled out from the debris. One person was found injured and has been sent to hospital. An ambulance was also dispatched to the spot during the rescue operation. GT Hospital RMO Dr. Vaibhav said that three people were brought to the hospital with injuries due to the wall collapse. In which Vinay Kumar, Ramchandra Sahni have been declared dead. Apart from this, Sunny Kanojia was admitted as her condition was critical. However, now Sunny’s condition is stable.
