48 Devotees Of Shivpuri Stranded On Kedarnath Road Due To Cloud Burst, Administration Airlifted

Devotees of Shivpuri went on Chardham Yatra.

48 devotees of Shivpuri were stuck on the road due to cloudburst on the footpath of Kedarnath Dham. All the devotees were safely rescued by a helicopter on Friday. Let us tell you that on Wednesday night, about 30 meters of the road was washed away due to cloudburst on the path of Kedarnath Dham.

Due to which hundreds of devotees on both sides were stuck on the road. After which NDRF, DDRF personnel carried out rescue operations. Helicopters are also being used for rescue.

The devotees went on a pilgrimage to Chardham

According to the information, about 50 devotees living in Badarwas town of Shivpuri district had left to participate in the Bhagwat Katha organized in Badrinath along with Char Dham Yatra. This Bhagavata Katha was to be organized from July 4 at Badrinath Dham by Mata Bhuvaneshwari Ramayana Seva Samiti of Badarwas.

Pandit Shri Krishna Gopal Maharaj, a resident of Badarwas, also used to recite this Bhagavata Katha. Due to which 50 devotees and 10 people left for Badarwas five days ago for food etc.

Stopped on the way after seeing Kedarnath

According to the information, earlier a total of 48 devotees including storyteller Pandit Krishna Gopal Sharma, Kripa Singh Yadav, Sushil Bansal, Shyam Soni, Radhe Chaudhary, Vishnu Singhal, Vinod Goyal started the pilgrimage to Kedarnath at 5 am on Wednesday. . All the devotees reached Kedarnath Dham at five o’clock on Wednesday evening.

Devotees rescued by helicopter

After performing darshan, all the devotees left for home at 4 o’clock on Friday morning. But they were not informed about the closure of the road due to cloudburst. Because of which all the devotees were stuck on the way. After this all left for Gauri Kund. From here all the devotees were rescued by helicopter. Let us tell you that all 48 devotees are staying in a hotel in Rampur. From where all devotees will leave for Badrinath Dham.
