Tea Scam in Syedpur Taluk
In the case of supporting Shakeel Ahmed, who worked as a clerk in Syedpur taluk of Ghazipur district of UP, the police took active action and arrested two tea sellers from the city. He was sent to jail under relevant sections. During interrogation, the tea shop owners said that they used to take tea to Dak Bungalow. In exchange for a payment of Rs 500 or Rs 1,000, Shakeel would sometimes give him a government check of Rs 20,000 and sometimes Rs 50,000. After cashing it, we will keep our money and give the rest to him. Shakeel was happy and was giving extra money too. Shakeel is accused of paying a tea bill of Rs 20 lakh in 15 months.
According to locals and victims of Shakeel Ahmed, Shakeel did not do any work without taking money. A similar video of taking money came out a few months ago. No action could be taken due to lack of concrete evidence. Meanwhile, he was transferred to Sevarai taluka. He was found to have embezzled millions of rupees by cutting dozens of government cheques. As soon as this was revealed, there was a commotion in the administration. During the investigation there were one revelation after another. Lakhs of rupees have gone into the accounts of Dharmendra Modanwal, Jitendra Modanwal and Pramod Yadav. After which a case was registered on the complaint of the Tahsildar.
Investigation revealed the truth
When the process of investigation proceeded, it came to know that Dharmendra and Jeetendra are real brothers. His tea shop is opposite Syedpur PWD Dak Bungalow. Pramod Yadav is a resident of Rawal village. After which the police arrested both the tea sellers. In questioning, he said that he used to take tea to Dak Bungalow. In exchange for a payment of Rs 500 or Rs 1,000, Shakeel would sometimes give him a government check of Rs 20,000 and sometimes Rs 50,000. Now the police have sent both Cha brothers to Varanasi jail.
Police are busy searching for the accused
The search is on for the third accused, Pramod Yadav. Shakeel Ahmed was a very cunning person and used to target such people to cash the cheques. Whom we used to get work by giving few rupees. Syedpur police said Shakeel and Pramod will also be arrested soon. The arresting team included SI Kausalesh Sharma, Com. Arvindra Yadav, Sandeep Bharti, Abhishek Yadav and Shubham Patel.
What is the matter?
Many serious allegations are being made against Babu Shakeel, stationed in Syedpur Tehsil. When I took out the bill for 15 months, I found that the tea bill was around 20 thousand rupees.
