Recently, a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj fell down in Malvan, Sindhudurg, Maharashtra. An FIR was registered against two people in this matter. Both the accused are still absconding. The sculptor who made the statue is also Jaideep Apte. On the day of the incident, he ran away from his house in Kalyan. Another accused structural consultant Chetan Patil is also absconding. He is a resident of Kolhapur district.

The Sindhudurg Crime Branch team reached the house of both in search of the absconding accused. But returned empty handed. Sindhudurg Police has formed a total of 7 teams in this case. There are 2 teams for technical analysis. 5 teams are searching for the accused at different locations of Mumbai Kalyan Police Station, Kolhapur and Goa. The police have not got any clue about the accused. The police are raiding their different locations.

Who is Jaideep Apte?

Jaideep Apte is around 25 years old. He lives in Kalyan area adjacent to Mumbai. He is said to be close to Kalyan MP Srikant Shinde. Has been a student of JJ School of Arts, Mumbai. It is being alleged that he got this contract only because of his closeness to the MP. Before this, Jaideep had no special experience in making such large sculptures.

Politics has heated up over the statue

In this matter, the opposition surrounded the government by holding a joint PC on Wednesday. Sharad Pawar advised the state government not to run away from its responsibility. Uddhav Thackeray called the government anti-Shiva. After this BJP called Uddhav a vulture and advised him not to do politics.

Now the question is that Ajit Pawar’s NCP which is a part of the government itself has also entered the fray against its own government. There is movement across the state. The NCP Ajit faction staged a demonstration near the Shivaji statue in Mumbai’s Chebur area.

Opposition leaders are doing politics

He accused the opposition that opposition leaders demanding Ajit Pawar’s resignation were playing politics. While we have reached here considering the suffering of all the people of the state. This is a silent movement. That is, the movement to stand with people’s sensitivities. All we are demanding is that an investigation be carried out at the earliest. They are agitating against their own government… He was seen giving a roundabout answer to this question.
