A temple priest fell in love with a 39-year-old woman
A priest turned killer for his love affair in Nigri village of Bargi police station in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. A 22-year-old pastor only wanted his girlfriend and, fearing to be away from her, plotted to kill the woman’s husband. To get his girlfriend, Pujari killed her husband, 50-year-old Mukesh Zaria, along with two others. The police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. The police arrested three accused in the murder. All the three accused have been sent to jail.
There is a magnificent temple of Lord Sri Radha Krishna in Nigri village of Bargi. In this temple, 22 year old Vivek Dubey, who lived near Chakarghata Hanuman Temple, worshiped Lord Krishna. Devotees keep coming and going in the temple. A woman lived in a house built in front of the temple. She too, a devotee, regularly worshiped Lord Sri Krishna. The woman went to the temple every morning and evening to worship Lord Krishna. During this time, she fell in love with temple priest Vivek Dubey, who was 17 years her junior. Time passed and their love blossomed. Both started meeting in the temple every morning and evening. As they met, their closeness grew. Both did not want to be without each other even for a moment.
A priest becomes a murderer under the influence of love
The age of the woman is 39 years. He also has a 19-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter. The woman was staying away from her husband Mukesh for the past 8 years at her maternal uncle’s house. In the meantime, the woman came to know that her husband Mukesh Zharia now wants to come and stay with her at her maternal uncle’s house. The woman told the priest about this. The priest along with his two friends hatched a conspiracy to get the woman’s husband out of the way. He had involved his friends in this murder by offering a bribe of one and a half lakh rupees.
Killing with knives
During the night the three accused reached Nigri and killed Mukesh with a knife and returned to their village. On receiving the information about the murder, the police reached the spot and conducted a search warrant and sent the body for post-mortem. After this, the police started investigating the whole matter, the revelations of which shocked everyone.
The police immediately arrested the three accused and produced them in court, from where they were sent to jail. The incident has created a sensation in the village and the people are in shock over the accident. The family members of deceased Mukesh Zharia are saddened and are demanding strict punishment for the accused.
