A sensational case has come to light in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur. Here a young man raped his girlfriend on the pretext of marriage. The victim alleged that a pornographic video was made of her after the rape. Now the accused is threatening to kill by making the video viral. The victim went with her mother and lodged a police complaint. The police have registered a case and started investigation in this matter.
The incident took place in Piprach police station area. The victim told the police that when she was studying in college, a village youth used to stalk her. On some pretext he would stop me on the road and start talking to me. I refused him many times but he did not relent. After repeatedly following him, he started asking for my mobile number, so I refused. I said I don’t have a mobile then how can I give the number. Even after this he was not satisfied and continued to follow me.
The victim said
One day he bought me a new mobile and started giving it to me and said you can talk to me only with it. I wasn’t taking it, but he forcefully put it in my bag. After that he started calling me constantly. I was not picking up the phone, so next day he stopped me on the road and said now I have given you my mobile, please talk to me. I started to give him back the mobile, but he didn’t take it and started creating drama on the way, so I kept taking the mobile again. His behavior got me worried and when I started answering his calls, he trapped me with his words.
The victim said that during the conversation he said that I like you a lot. I want to marry you. If you say yes, my life will be better. By doing this he trapped me in his love trap. He promised marriage. Meanwhile, one day when college opened early, I met him on the road and seizing the opportunity, he put me on the bike and started taking me for a ride. One day on the pretext of going for a walk, he took me to a deserted place and raped me. Not only that, he also made an obscene video of this incident. When I protested, he said that we are going to get married.
‘Continued to commit rape’
After this he kept raping me for several days. When I asked him to marry me, he hesitated. He said that now I want to do a big business. If more money comes I will arrange all the facilities and stuff etc for you. After marriage you will live like a queen, but she neither did any solid work nor married.
Similarly, after a long time, when I went to the young man’s house with my mother, the family members beat me up and chased me away. His family members said that I will not marry my son to you by coming like this. The young man also began to agree with the family members and refused to marry. He also threatened that if he mentions marriage again, he will make the obscene video of me go viral on social media.

In this regard, Uttar Pradesh SP Jitendra Srivastav said that a case has been registered at Piprach police station on the complaint of the victim. The police are conducting raids in search of the accused youth Amit Yadav. He will be arrested soon. Further action will be taken based on evidence and facts.
