Police are investigating the spot after the attack
A husband fatally attacked his wife with a blade in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The husband first chased the wife, then stopped her midway and assaulted her several times one after the other. Not only this, the husband also tried to commit suicide after seriously injuring his wife. People caught the accused and informed the police. The police have admitted both of them to different hospitals for treatment. After treatment, the police will take the accused into custody and interrogate him.
According to the information, this case is from Girgaon area of Mumbai. 45-year-old Sheetal commuted from Nalasopara to South Mumbai every day for her job. As usual she got off the train and went to her job. Meanwhile later her husband Sagar came. Sagar first attacked Sheetal on the throat, then on the face with a blade and then tried to commit suicide by cutting a vein in his arm. Sheetal fell on the ground due to the attack of the blade.

After Sheetal’s fall, accused husband Sagar also tried to commit suicide by cutting her wrist vein. By then the locals had gathered and brought Sagar under control and reported the entire matter to the police. Police reached the spot and admitted Sheetal to Reliance Hospital and Sagar to JJ Hospital. Currently both are undergoing treatment. The police have registered a case under section 109 of the IPC against the husband Sagar. After treatment, the police will take him into custody and interrogate him.

Police said that Sheetal suspected that her husband was having an affair with another woman. There were daily fights between the two on this issue. Due to prolonged quarrels, Sheetal moved to her maternal uncle’s house in Nalasopara. While Sagar was living in Virar. Both Sheetal and Sagar were working in a private company. A video of the entire incident has also surfaced in which the police are going to the spot and questioning the local people. Traces of blood were also seen on the road here.
