The woman’s mother accused her daughter’s in-laws of torture. Said, the daughter was being tortured mentally and physically by her in-laws so much that we brought her to us two years ago. But the daughter became mentally disturbed. She often tried to run away from home. So, of necessity, he had to be chained.

The woman was kept in chains for two years. When the administration came to know about this, the woman was brought to the district hospital on the initiative of the probation department. Here he has been referred to Kanpur due to his serious condition. He is currently undergoing treatment.

The case is from Puraini village in Jalalpore police station area. According to information, 25-year-old Suman, who lives here, got married to Mahendra, a resident of Dadri village under Atta police station in Jalon, about three years ago. Suman’s mother Janakia alleged that the harassment by her in-laws had damaged her daughter’s mental balance. Her in-laws beat her a lot. Made dirty allegations of talking on mobile. The daughter could not bear the torture and her condition continued to deteriorate.

According to Dr. Mohit, the woman is mentally ill. She kept saying leave me I will run away. District Magistrate Rahul Pandey has said that the matter will be investigated. If all this happened due to the torture of in-laws, action will be taken against them.
