The terror of criminals does not stop in Jabalpur. Recently, the incident that took place near the vegetable market in Bhagwanganj police station area of Jabalpur has raised questions on the police action. Here the criminals have become so fearless that they attacked the jail guard’s house with petrol bombs. The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed outside the house. In which two assailants can be seen coming on a bike and fleeing after the attack. Based on the CCTV footage, the police have arrested three accused.
This incident which happened in the middle of the city has spread panic in the entire area. This is not the first time that a prison guard and his family have been targeted. There have been four fatal attacks on his home and family in the last three years. The victim’s family has lodged a complaint at the police station regarding the attack. However, no strict action has been taken against the accused so far. The family members have accused Ansh Pathak, a resident of Bhagwanganj police station area, and his associates of the attack. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police registered a complaint and arrested three accused in the entire matter.
Even previous attacks
Family members say that like the previous attacks, this time too the criminals have no fear of the police. Last time, the miscreants poured petrol on two vehicles parked outside the house and set them on fire. Local people say that if the police had acted on time, such incidents might not have happened. Not only the victim’s family but also the people of the entire area are worried by the repeated attacks. People’s confidence in law and order is eroding. This incident has made it clear that the morale of the criminals is high and they have no fear of the law.
Police arrested
In the same matter, City Superintendent of Police Ritesh Shiva says that an FIR was filed in the police station by Ranu Aggarwal. The entire matter was investigated seriously and three accused were identified on the basis of CCTV footage. In which Rajveer Thakur, Pawan Burman and Ansh Pathak have been arrested. Investigation revealed that there is an old dispute between Ansh Pathak and Ranu Aggarwal. Due to which the crime was committed by the accused.
