‘Accidents Are Happening Due To Potholes’, Minister Himself Upset Over Bad MP Roads, Writes Letter To PWD Minister

The condition of bad roads in Madhya Pradesh is such that now even the minister himself is looking troubled by it. Tourism and Culture Minister Dharmendra Lodhi in the state’s Mohan government is also troubled by the bad roads. He has complained about this in writing to the concerned department. Meanwhile, he also mentioned the road which is in dilapidated condition. Dharmendra Lodhi has written to Public Works Department Minister Rakesh Singh asking him to repair it soon.

Minister Dharmendra Lodhi has written in the letter that these days the condition of Damoh, Jabera, Singrampur, Katangi, Jabalpur state highways is very bad. He mentioned that there are big potholes at many places on the state highway due to which people are facing great difficulty in movement. In a letter to Public Works Department Minister Rakesh Singh, he said that earlier the maintenance of this road was done by the Madhya Pradesh Corporation, Jabalpur. But, later this state highway was declared as a national highway.

Minister Dharmendra Lodhi has written that the highway has not been maintained since it was declared a National Highway. Due to which his condition is getting worse. Dharmendra Lodhi has appealed to the Public Works Department to take immediate action in this regard. However, no reply has been received from the Public Works Department in response to this letter.

The letter becomes a topic of discussion

However, this is not the first time that a minister has complained against a minister from another department regarding some work. But, this letter of Minister Dharmendra Lodhi is becoming a topic of discussion from political circles to common people. Questions are also being raised as to why the road is not maintained after it has been declared a National Highway.
