West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that she will not go to the Raj Bhavan alone after the Raj Bhavan molestation allegation. Protests are taking place across Bengal against the rape and murder of a junior doctor in Kolkata. Mamata Banerjee went to the Raj Bhavan on the invitation of the Governor on Thursday on Independence Day, but not alone but with the TMC team, Mamata Banerjee did not even drink the water of the Raj Bhavan. The Chief Minister did not touch the food provided by the party or Raj Bhavan. After coming out, Mamata Banerjee said, “I did not drink even a drop of water there.”

Kolkata Mayor and Minister Firhad Hakim and Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal accompanied the Chief Minister to the Raj Bhavan on Thursday. After coming out of Raj Bhavan, Mamata Banerjee opened her mouth again about the RG incident. He also gave a detailed reply to the Governor’s criticism. Mamata said, “I myself have condemned this incident. I will also march tomorrow (Friday) demanding capital punishment. I also informed the police about this and they started working. It was I who went to his parents and told them that if my police does not do this by Sunday, I will hand him over to the CBI, but the court handed him over to the CBI even before that.
