Barabanki’s psycho killer prosecuted under NSA.
In December 2022, back-to-back murders of women in Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki sent people into a panic. The killer used to kill women and throw their bodies naked on the road. The mental condition of the accused was so bad that he used to kill women and later rape their dead bodies. The police have initiated action under the National Security Act (NSA) against the accused.
In December 2002, two incidents happened one after the other in the Ramsanehighat area of ​​Barabanki, creating a stir in the entire area. An elderly woman was also included in it. The accused killed the elderly woman while she was going to the forest to defecate. After which the body of the old man was raped. After a lot of hard work, the police arrested the psycho killer Amarendra.
Magistrate took action against NSA
When the police interrogated the accused, he confessed to his crime and named two other accomplices, after which the police also arrested those accused on 22 March 2023. The police took action under the Gangster Act on 3 May 2023 to crack down on the accused, but SP Dinesh Kumar Singh was determined to put an end to Mano’s terror. On the instructions of SP, Inspector-in-charge Ramsanehighat OP Tiwari and on the request of higher officials, the Magistrate has taken action under NSA against Saiko Amarendra.

On December 5, 2022, the accused tried to rape an old woman in a village, but the villagers saved the old woman’s life. The accused fled from the spot. After the murder of two women, the police formed five separate teams and arrested the psycho. NSA has been implemented by the police to reduce the incidence of crime and to check the growing audacity of the accused.
