An Investment Of Rs 5.21 Lakh Crore Has Been Received For The Development Of Rajasthan, 1.55 Lakh People Will Get Employment.

There is good news for the people of Rajasthan. The government has received many investment proposals at this conference, which will provide direct employment to more than one lakh people. The Rajasthan government has received investment proposals worth over Rs 5.21 lakh crore (around USD 62 billion) within two weeks of the announcement of the dates of the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit-2024. According to the official release, the Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP) has received these proposals from leading corporate houses in the country and abroad. Let us tell you that BIP is the nodal department for this investment conference.

1.55 lakh people will get jobs

These projects are expected to provide direct employment to around 1.55 lakh people. According to the release, this investment proposal of Rs 5.21 lakh crore received by the state government accounts for over 33 per cent of Rajasthan’s current economy. Rajasthan’s economy is estimated at Rs 15.28 lakh crore in 2023-24. The Rising Rajasthan Investment Conference 2024 will be organised by the Rajasthan government on December 9, 10 and 11 this year in the capital Jaipur.

This conference was held for this reason.

The objective of this three-day conference is to attract large and small companies, international organisations and investors from India and abroad to come and work in the state and help in setting up various kinds of industries in the state. Rajasthan Minister for Industries and Commerce Col Rajyavardhan Rathore said that we are very much excited by the excellent response and support received so far from the investors. The Department of Industries has been making relentless efforts for the last six-seven months to make Rajasthan an attractive investment destination and this is the result of the same.

The state government will soon organise national and international roadshows to meet national and global industrialists, corporates, international institutions etc. and invite them to invest in the state. Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary (Industry) to the Government of Rajasthan, said that the tremendous enthusiasm of investors shows that there has been a significant change in investor sentiment in Rajasthan and its potential in the last few months.
