Engine of Muzaffarpur Pune Special train derailed
The news of a major train accident has come to light in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur on Saturday. The engine of the Muzaffarpur Pune special train has derailed. This special train was going from Muzaffarpur to Pune. But before that, the engine of this train derailed. The accident took place near Muzaffarpur railway station. As soon as the information about the incident came to light, the railway officials have reached the spot.
The engine of a special train from Muzaffarpur to Pune derailed near the railway station. The number of derailed Muzaffarpur Pune special train is 05389. The train departs from Muzaffarpur and goes to Pune via Jabalpur and Deendayal stations. According to the information received from the railway, there is no news of any untoward incident in this accident.
Three pairs of wheels derailed
Currently, according to the information received from the railway, the accident took place when the engine of the Muzaffarpur Pune special train was going for setting. And in the meantime three pairs of wheels derailed. Railway officials reached the spot as soon as they got the information about the accident. Also the railway employees are busy bringing the derailed engine back on track.
Currently, the real reason behind this incident is not known. According to the information, the railway employees are trying to bring the engine of the train on the track. Meanwhile, the Muzaffarpur Pune Special train has been reopened with a delay of about one and a half hours by installing another engine. Meanwhile DCM, Station Master, RPF and other officials are investigating the matter.
This is the second train accident in Muzaffarpur in a week.
Earlier, on September 18 of this month, four coaches of a freight train derailed in Muzaffarpur. The accident took place near Gate No. 98 (B) near Narayanpur station in Muzaffarpur. The accident took place when the goods train coming from Bhilai to Muzaffarpur was going for shunting at Narayanpur station. However, no one was injured in the accident. A dozen trains on both the Up and Down lines had to be rerouted due to the accident.
