Voices of protest have started coming from Uttarakhand regarding this. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami performed the Bhumipujan of this temple. But since his Bhoomipujan, the voices of protest are echoing not only in Kedarnath Dham but in the entire Kedar Valley. The Kedarnath Dham Trust says that building the temple of Baba Kedarnath somewhere else is against the dignity of the main pilgrimage site.
A magnificent temple like Kedarnath Dham is to be constructed in Burari area of Delhi. His Bhumi Poojan has been done and preparations are underway to build the temple. In such a situation, voices of protest are constantly being heard from Uttarakhand. There is great resentment among the people, priests and religious followers associated with Kedarnath Dham. People say that Baba Kedarnath cannot be built anywhere else, it is against the dignity of the temple and an attack on the faith of the people who believe in the shrine.
What did CM Dhami say?
Amidst the voices of protest, CM Dhami has also given his reaction. CM Dhami has intervened and said that Baba Kedar’s Dham cannot be built anywhere else in the world. He has also given necessary directions to the Chairman of Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee. He said that if a temple is built anywhere in the name of Baba Kedar, it cannot affect the dignity of the temple. However, here CM Dhami said that since this is a matter of faith, the temple committees have been instructed to clarify the situation by talking to the people concerned.
Kedarnath Dham is not being built
Surendra Rautela, founder and president of Sri Kedarnath Dham Trust Burari Delhi in Burari, Delhi, said that the Kedarnath temple is not being built in the Dham but in Delhi. Kedarnath Dham Delhi Trust is constructing this temple. Uttarakhand government has nothing to do with this. He said that he respects the faith of devotees attached to Kedarnath Dham. Devotees of Baba Kedar are building his temple in Delhi.
Does not affect faith

But, this does not affect the faith in the main body in the minds of the people. Devotees also have faith in the temple built here by reaching the main shrine.
