Accused in Kolkata Rape Murder Case
The incident at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital has created a stir across the country. There is a lot of anger among the people regarding this incident. Protests are taking place in various states regarding this. The struggle continues for the victim to get justice. Meanwhile, the in-laws of the accused have asked that he be given the death penalty. Accused’s mother-in-law wants Sanjay hanged.
While talking to TV9 Bangla, accused Sanjay’s mother-in-law said, give him death sentence. He used to beat his daughter (accused’s wife) after drinking alcohol. Even after filing a complaint at the Kalighat police station, there was no avail. She got married on 19 February 2022. The mother-in-law said that the accused Sanjay got married with the identity of the police. Sanjay used to come to his in-laws house in police bike and police car.
