Bhati-Beniwal-Rot Seen On A Stage, What Kind Of New Political Turmoil Is Brewing In Rajasthan?

A new political turmoil seems to be brewing in Rajasthan after the Lok Sabha elections, the scene of which was witnessed two days ago. Not only Congress MP Umedram Beniwal and independent MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati, who contested against each other in the Barmer Lok Sabha seat, but also MP Rajkumar Rot were seen together. The three leaders arrived in the same vehicle at the event organized on the occasion of World Tribal Rights Day. His convoy was accompanied by hundreds of supporters. Since then, speculations have started in Rajasthan politics that there is a political conspiracy between the three leaders?

Congress leader Umedram Beniwal and independent MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati were contesting against each other in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, there was a huge political tussle between the two leaders. During the Lok Sabha elections, there was a fierce competition between the two leaders, but Umedaram Beniwal won the political battle and was elected as MP. Ravindra Singh Bhati suffered a defeat, but also learned how to defeat Kailash Chaudhary, a veteran BJP leader and minister in the Modi government. Rajkumar Rot has been elected MP from Banswara seat from Bharatiya Adivasi Party, which has opened a front on Bhil state these days.

All the three leaders were seen on one stage

During the road show organized in Barmer, Rajasthan, the three veteran leaders of the state came on a stage and came into discussion. Earlier, pictures of Ravindra Bhati and former Congress MLA Amin Khan were seen in the BMP poster. Now the political chemistry of Ravindra Bhati, Amin Khan seems to be forming between Rajkumar Rot and Ummedram Beniwal. The picture sharing the stage in such a situation is hinting at a new political tension between the trio.

Political journey of Ravindra Bhatti

Ravindra Bhati is currently an independent MLA from Shiv assembly seat in Barmer district. Bhati was ideologically close to the BJP. Has been a member of ABVP, but has become a challenge to BJP. He became an independent MLA in 2023 and then contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate. A Muslim leader from Barmer region, Amin Khan defeated the Congress leaders in the assembly elections and protested against the return of former Congress district president Fateh Khan to the party, but the party ignored him. Because of this, Amin Khan rebelled against the Congress and supported Ravindra Singh Bhati.

Defeated in the Lok Sabha elections

In the Lok Sabha elections, Ravindra Bhatti managed to win the OBC and Rajput votes in Barmer region, but could not unite the Muslim community. Muslims voted 80 percent in favor of the Congress. Umedram Beniwal was able to win because of the Jat-Muslim equation. After the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, both Amin Khan and Ravindra Singh Bhati were busy creating new equations. Dalit leader Vaman Meshram’s closeness to BMP is increasing these days. Because of this, he participated in BMP’s party program in August.

A new political debate began

Banswada Dungarpur MP and Bharatiya Adivasi Party chief Rajkumar Rot, Barmer MP Umedram Beniwal, Independent MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati appeared on a stage at the Tribal Rights Day program organized at Ramsar in Barmer district. Meanwhile, MP Umedaram Beniwal announced to give 20 lakh rupees to the Bhil community. In this way, he has certainly tried to improve the political equation of his parliamentary constituency and has also sparked a new political debate.

What does this political chemistry say?

Is it a political coincidence that independent MLA Ravindra Bhati is now taking part in a road show with the faces of tribal society, MP Rajkumar Rot and Congress MPs, or is a political experiment being scripted. It is also being said that the way Rajkumar Rot is these days campaigning for the creation of a Bhil state, he wants to establish his presence in the tribal community. Ravindra Singh Bhati is now busy forging a separate political identity. In this way, political speculations are being made in the future regarding the coming together of the two. Now it remains to be seen whether Bhati-Amin-Rajkumar Rot and Beniwal, who came together on the pretext of tribal rights day, will continue to have the same political chemistry in the future.
