Trainee doctors are protesting.
The entire country is on the road over the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Recently, women across West Bengal took to the streets. Apart from this, everyone from school students to lawyers, film personalities and sex workers have taken to the streets. Along with this, political parties have also opened a front against the government. Kolkata Police has taken a big decision in this matter. He said that from 18th to 24th no gathering of more than five people will be allowed at any place adjacent to the hospital.
In fact, on the night of August 14, around 40 people entered the hospital and ransacked the emergency department, nursing unit and medical store. The mob also broke the CCTV cameras of the government hospital and ransacked the stage where junior doctors were protesting the rape and murder of a woman doctor and demanding safety at their workplace.

After this, the second phase of the movement has been announced. At night, once again, women have decided to take command by taking to the streets. In such a situation, many questions are being raised on this action of the police to stop the movement.
According to Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code, the Kolkata Police Commissioner has issued a notice that no more than five people will be allowed to gather at several places adjacent to RG Kar from 18th to 24th. Gathering of more than five people will not be allowed from Belgachia Road, JK Mitra Crossing Road, Shyampukur 5 Mathar Mor, Belgachia More to Mathar Mor, JK Mitra Road of Shyambazar 5.
Not only this, a proclamation was issued that no meeting or procession could be held with sticks or any weapon. The notification also said that nothing could be done to disturb the peace.
