The nephew shot and killed the uncle
Sarpanch Satish Kumar of Shivpur Panchayat of Bikramganj Police Station in Rohtas, Bihar has been shot dead by his nephew. The police have arrested the accused along with the weapon used in the murder. Late on Saturday evening when Sarpanch Satish Singh reached his home after returning from Bikramganj market and was changing his clothes, his nephew Anand fired at him. Now the reason for the murder is said to be a family dispute.
According to the preliminary police investigation, the nephew shot the uncle due to a family dispute. Sarpanch died on the spot in this firing. Rohtas SP Roshan Kumar reached the spot along with the police force on receiving the information. An investigation has been started in this matter. Sarpanch’s body has been sent for postmortem.
Uncle was shot while changing clothes
Sarpanch Satish Kumar of Shivpur Panchayat of Bikramganj in Rohtas district has been shot dead by his nephew. Police have arrested the accused. Sarpanch Satish Singh reached home after finishing his work as usual. After reaching home he changed his clothes and then his nephew Anand shot at him.
After knowing so much anger towards the uncle, when the police reached the spot and asked the people, it came to know that there was an argument going on between the uncle and the nephew over something. The sarpanch was killed on the spot in the firing by his nephew.
Police are investigating the case
On receiving the information, Rohtas SP Roshan Kumar reached the spot along with the police force and started investigation. The accused has been arrested from the village. The police have also recovered the weapon used in the uncle’s murder. After the murder, some people were trying to hide the weapons. Police have also arrested three other people and are interrogating them. Sarpanch’s son and wife live in Ranchi, Jharkhand. He lived in an old house with his brother and nephew.
A fight broke out between the two and after this the nephew shot and killed the sarpanch uncle. Rohtas SP Roshan Kumar said that the true reasons behind the murder are being investigated. After the incident, chaos broke out at the scene. A large number of police forces have also been deployed at the scene. So, there is no further division. The police took possession of the body of the deceased Sarpanch and brought it to Sadar Hospital, Sasaram for post-mortem, from where the deceased has been sent to Sadar Hospital, Sasaram for post-mortem from Sarpanch’s Chowk.
