Bihar: The Police Are Also Troubled By The Blast Of Bullets, SP Orders – People Have To Deposit Weapons

New order issued for arms license

In Bihar’s Motihari, two people were killed and nearly half a dozen injured in a shootout over a land dispute. After this the new SP Swarna Prabhat has issued a new order. He has said in the new order that unlicensed firearms from outside Bihar should be confiscated as soon as the firearm license is produced. The Superintendent of Police has issued this new order after the incident of firing with licensed and unlicensed weapons came to light regarding the land dispute in East Champaran.

If you are also fond of carrying firearms and if you have a license related to other states like Nagaland, Jammu-Kashmir or any other state, now your firearm has to be deposited, otherwise it will be confiscated. The Motihari district administration has also taken a strict stance following the growing land dispute over this survey and the use of licensed weapons in murder cases. The DM of Motihari had ordered all police stations 7 months ago to verify licenses of arms used from other states.

New order regarding arms license

All firearms must be surrendered until verification, i.e. until your license is verified and you can keep your license. Your license will be revoked and your firearm will be confiscated. On the other hand, the new SP Swarna Prabhat in his order took strict action against those who posted photos with weapons on social media and said that if you take photographs with your licensed or unlicensed weapons and make them viral on social media. Your weapon will also be confiscated and legal action will be taken against you.

One such case has come to light from Turkulia. In this case, a young man took a photo shoot with a rifle in his hand and his photo went viral on social media. After this, the in-charge of Turkaulia Police Station has started the action by filing an FIR in such a case. Even after the order of the District Magistrate, there are still several police stations that have not yet responded to the number of licensed and unlicensed firearms in our police station area. He also could not say how many weapons have been seized.

The land has been sold in the name of others

The land survey is being done as per the new land survey. There are many such land brokers who have sold other people’s land in their name. At the same time, people who are weak are being driven off their land at gunpoint. In this regard, Government of Bihar issued an order regarding land survey, but in some places, many political parties as well as politicians have made their complaints to Minister of Land Reforms and Revenue, Government of Bihar regarding irregularities in land survey.

After this he has issued an order to stop the work for a few days regarding the land survey. On the other hand, so far the incidents of firing at two places i.e. Kotwa in East Champaran district and a village in Madhuban police station area have come to light over land dispute in East Champaran district. Two people were also killed and around half a dozen people were injured in the incident. A struggle between life and death.
