After receiving a bomb threat at Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s office, the security agencies are in a panic. A case was registered in the Secretariat Police Station on the statement of SHO Sanjiv Kumar on Friday (August 2) in this matter. According to police sources, on July 16, a message was received on the CMO’s official email id that the CMO would be bombed. This message was sent in the name of Al Qaeda group.
According to the information, the emailers sent the mail from achw700@gmail.com id. At present, the police is trying to find out the relevant mail ID. Earlier, the police have registered a case against the unidentified person under section 351 (4) (3) of BNS 2023 and 66 (F) of the IT Act. The police of the Secretariat Police Station have conducted an investigation into the entire matter.
Threat to blow up CM’s office with bombs
The Bihar Police has registered a case in connection with an e-mail threatening to bomb the Chief Minister’s office, according to an FIR registered on July 16 based on the statement of Inspector Sanjiv Kumar of Secretariat Police Station. An e-mail was sent to the Chief Minister and forwarded to the office.
He said the sender of the e-mail claimed to be linked to Al-Qaeda and had threatened to bomb the Chief Minister’s office complex. After investigation, we have registered an FIR on August 2, 2024.
According to the FIR available on the website of the Bihar Police’s State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB), a case has been registered against unidentified persons under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the IT Act.
