Blackout In Delhi-NCR, Rain Alert In UP-Bihar; Know The Weather Of These States

Delhi NCR is expected to remain cloudy throughout the day today. Many states including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are likely to receive heavy rainfall. Already, due to heavy rains in Nepal and other hilly states, the rivers flowing through Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have broken and these two states are also receiving rains. That is why there is devastation in dozens of districts. Because heavy rain is going on in Nepal. Hence an alert has been issued in the districts located along the rivers entering the border of Uttar Pradesh from Nepal. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, it has been raining for three days in many districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Azamgarh and Jaunpur districts were also struck by lightning. Due to which three people have died. Two of these deaths have occurred in Jaunpur district. Similarly in Ballia district also one person died due to lightning, while another person was badly burnt. Due to continuous rain in the state, walls and roofs etc. have also collapsed at many places. On the other hand, two people have died due to lightning in Chitrakoot. 10 people have died in Uttar Pradesh due to such incidents. More than 20 people are also reported to have been injured.

Flood situation in many districts

According to the report, there have been incidents of roof collapse in many places due to rain. Three people have died due to such incidents in Ayodhya. A child has died in Sultanpur district. Other rivers including Ghaghra, Sarayu and Rapti in Uttar Pradesh are eager to break their banks due to continuous rains. These rivers have wreaked havoc from Barabanki, Gonda, Basti to Ballia. Similarly, in Bihar’s West Champaran district, the water released from the Valmiki Nagar barrage has caused havoc. Many villages have been flooded. Due to which people have to migrate. 4 lakh 74 thousand cusecs of water was released from this barrage on Saturday itself.

Landslide threat in northeast

It has been raining continuously for four days in the northeastern states. In the meantime, landslides have also occurred in many places. Due to which traffic has been disrupted. The Indian Meteorological Department has again today warned of heavy rains and landslides in these states. According to reports, major roads were blocked due to landslides in Sikkim on Saturday. Due to which the traffic system was completely disrupted. Contact with the northern part of the state was cut off. Similarly, large stones have fallen on many other roads. Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has warned the people of the state and advised them to avoid unnecessary travel during rains.
