How did ‘Ulj’ earn the next day?

Janhvi Kapoor’s action thriller-drama ‘Ulz’ has hit the big screen. The film was much talked about before its release. But after the release the situation seems different. Janhvi’s film is not getting good response from the audience and it is not earning well either. This is Janhvi’s second film released this year. Before this, her film ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ with Rajkumar Rao was released. Which had better opening day collection than ‘Uljh’. The film earned 6.75 crores on the first day. But ‘Ulj’ could not earn that much on the second day as well.

However, the second day collection of ‘Ulj’ increased slightly from the first day. The film earned 1 crore 15 lakh rupees on the first day. The film earned Rs 55 lakh more on the second day than on the first day. But the simultaneous release of Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Ooron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ collected more than this on the second day as well. ‘Ulj’ has also lagged behind Akshay Kumar’s flop ‘Sarafira’.

Two day storage

‘Ulje’ has collected 2 crore 85 lakh rupees in two days. Now it remains to be seen what wonder Janhvi’s ‘Ulz’ does on the second day of the weekend i.e. Sunday. It is hoped that the Sunday holiday may benefit the film. However, the makers and stars are quite disappointed to see the situation seen in two days. The makers have invested around 50 crore rupees to make this film. If Talaz continues to earn at this rate, the film still has 11 days to go. Because many movies will hit the theaters on August 15. In such a situation, the film has to collect first. Otherwise it will become more difficult for the film after this.
