UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

Industries established in 154 industrial areas under the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPCIDA) in UP will no longer have to pay tax separately to both the Municipal Corporation and UPCIDA. Industries in industrial areas have to pay maintenance charges to UPSIDA only. This proposal of the Industrial Development Department was approved in the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday.

The government believes that this sanction will save lakhs of rupees every year in the form of annual tax to the municipality by the industries set up in the industrial areas. Till now this system was applicable in Noida authority, but now it will be applicable for the entire state. A total of 9 decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting.

UPCIDA will be responsible for providing the services

After implementation of this decision, UPSIDA will be responsible for maintenance of industrial areas, construction of roads and providing all related services. Till now industrial areas could not be maintained due to responsibility of both Municipal Corporation and UPSIDA and both departments were blaming each other. According to a senior official of the Industries Department, this decision will lead to better development and maintenance of industrial areas.

The chief minister called a meeting of the food department

CM Yogi called a meeting of the food department this morning amid growing controversy over prasad in Varanasi, Lucknow, Mathura and Ayodhya. After the Tirupati incident, controversy over the quality of prasad began to rise in several religious cities of UP. In this meeting, the Chief Minister clearly said that mixing human waste in food items like juice, pulses and roti is disgusting, it is not acceptable. Apart from this, it has also been made mandatory to display the name and address of the operator, proprietor, manager etc. on the food joint.

Cleaning instructions at eating places

The government has made it clear that there will be no compromise on cleanliness at food joints. The person concerned must ensure that mask-gloves are used while preparing and serving food. No care should be taken in this.
