Can BJP Field A Muslim Candidate? This Discussion Took Place In The Meeting Of Yogi And The Ministers Regarding The By-election

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is in action regarding the by-elections to be held on 10 assembly seats. He is doing meetings quickly. He held a meeting with ministers on Wednesday, in which the issue of Muslim candidates also came up. The meeting discussed whether Muslim candidates could be fielded in Muslim-dominated assembly seats.

Apart from this, it was also said in the meeting that only honest and winning candidates should be selected. No ticket should be given to the recommending candidate. The meeting also discussed what is the caste equation in the by-election areas. There was a discussion about who the opposition candidates could be. The current situation was also discussed in the meeting.

The CM instructed the ministers to take 2 days of night rest in a week

In the meeting, Yogi Adityanath inquired about the status of each different group in his area. All the groups were also instructed by CM Yogi that everyone has to spend two days a week in the area under their charge for night rest till the election is over. At the same time, the Chief Minister has also instructed all the in-charge ministers that every group has to talk to the workers and focus maximum on strengthening the booths.

The ministers were called in this meeting whose by-elections are to be held on the seats of the 9 MLAs who won the Lok Sabha elections. Apart from this, a by-election is also to be held on the Sismai seat. The seat fell vacant after SP MLA Irfan Solanki was disqualified.

Ministers have been entrusted with the responsibility

The constituencies in which by-elections are scheduled include Milkipur, Katehari, Phulpur, Manzwa, Ghaziabad Sadar, Mirapur, Kher and Kundarki. The BJP organization has deputed the state government ministers and senior officials of the organization for election preparations on all these seats. For the by-election, a team of 16 ministers of the UP government was formed along with officials of the organization and each was tasked with registering victory in their respective seats. In addition to the BJP, ministers from allied parties have also been included in the team of ministers.

In fact, winning by-elections to 10 assembly seats has become a prestige issue for the BJP. Hence the ministers have been asked to stand firm in their areas henceforth to register victory at any cost.
