Caught As Thief, Brutally Beaten, Body Burnt With Cigarette, Boy Brutalized In Karnataka

A minor has been brutally attacked by half a dozen youths in Kalburgi, Karnataka. The accused caught this child on suspicion of stealing money from the house. They then beat the child badly and burned several places on his body with cigarettes. When the 14-year-old boy freed himself from the clutches of the accused and reached his home, his family members informed the police when they saw his condition. After this the police swung into action and arrested 5 people. The police have registered a case against all these accused under relevant sections and sent them to jail.

The case is of Dubai Colony Kalburgi. The victim, studying in class VIII, said during police interrogation that he used to go to school as usual. On the way, the accused caught him, locked him in a room and beat him up. The accused suspect that the child has stolen money from their house. When the child victim did not accept this, the accused burnt his body in several places with a cigarette. Meanwhile the child continued to scream, but none of the accused had any sympathy. After the child became unconscious due to the torture of the accused, the accused left him.

Threatened to make the video viral

During police interrogation, the girl victim identified the accused as Sivakumar, Jagannath, Saibanna, Mallik, Aditya. The child victim told the police that his parents live in Hyderabad for livelihood. He is studying here at a relative’s house. The victim said that the accused also made a video by placing beer and liquor bottles near her mouth and threatened to make the video viral if she told anyone about it. Based on the victim’s statement, the police registered a case and arrested all the accused. On Wednesday, the police produced all these accused in the court after necessary interrogation, from where they have been sent to jail.
