Chhattisgarh: The First Village In The Country Where 111 Feet High Tricolor Was Hoisted.

A 111 feet tall tricolor was hoisted in the Kurdish village of Balod in Chhattisgarh.

Kurdi village of Gundamdehi block in Balod district of Chhattisgarh has become the first village in India to install a 111-foot national flag, a statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and a statue of Chhattisgarh Mahatari. All these were inaugurated by the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh did. Raman Singh reached Kurdi village on his one-day visit. Apart from this, Raman Singh also inaugurated the Central Bank in Jewartala.

Raman Singh also addressed a general meeting in the village and praised CM Vishnudev Sai’s government. He said that in the interest of farmers, the government has decided to buy paddy at a support price of Rs 3100 per quintal. In just 8 months, 49 thousand crores of rupees were deposited in the accounts of the farmers of the state. Similarly, the state government implemented the Mahathari Vandan Yojana to make mothers and sisters self-reliant and self-reliant, with Rs. 1 thousand is being given.

Dr. Singh said that this is a day of pride for the entire state except Kurdi village. He said that Gram Panchayat Kurdi will be the first Gram Panchayat in the entire state where 111 feet national flag has been hoisted in honor of our patriots. On this occasion he praised the Kurdish people for supporting this noble cause.

Ayushman cards were given to 5 beneficiaries

Collector Indrajit Singh Chandrawal was also present in this program. Ayushman cards were given to 5 beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat Yojana by calling on the platform. Nutrition kits were distributed to malnourished children under Mor Laika Swasth Laika campaign and community forest officer pamphlets were also distributed to 8 beneficiaries under tribal division. 2 Beneficiaries were given community forest resource rights leaflets, disabled beneficiaries were also given tricycles, hearing aids and walking sticks.
