19 people missing in Rampur
The worst damage was reported in Bagipul of Nirmand subdivision. Nine houses have been affected in Bagipul due to flooding in Kurpan Khad here. Appeal to the Administration
On the other hand, the administration has appealed to the people of all riverside areas including Jia and Bhuntar in Kullu district to vacate their houses and move to safer places. In Himachal Pradesh, an alert of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in 10 districts during the next 36 hours. Meteorological department center Shimla has issued heavy rain warning for Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan and Una tonight and all day tomorrow. These districts may receive heavy rainfall during this period. Due to this, landslides and flash floods may occur in many areas. Keeping this in mind, the people of the state as well as tourists visiting the mountains have been advised to exercise caution.
