CM Mohan Yadav’s Initiative For Poor Welfare, Notification To Include Green Grains In Ration Items

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has talked about including grains like Jowar, Bajri, Ragi in the ration items given in the state. He said that for this, consideration should be given to procuring grains from local farmers and involving self-help groups in the process. Along with this, people who have been given slips under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana have also been asked to conduct a survey to see if they are eligible for the scheme or not.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave these instructions at a review meeting of the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput, Chief Secretary Veera Rana, Additional Chief Secretary Rajesh Rajoura and officials were present in the meeting at the Ministry.

A gas corporation should be formed at the state level.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the uniform of the employees of weights and measures department should be decided. In other states like Maharashtra, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana etc. the proposal should be submitted based on the existing arrangements in this regard. He expressed the need for setting up a gas corporation at the state level for activities related to supply of cooking gas through pipelines. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that gas is also likely to be used in the industrial sector, so an action plan should be made keeping in mind its supply.

Presentation on strengthening of SBI

Food Security Act, distribution of fortified rice, sugar and salt, providing food grains at concessional rates to Scheduled Castes and Tribes students, One Nation-One Ration Card, Pradhan Mantri Rashan Aapke Gram Yojana, Chief Minister Yuva Annadoot Yojana were discussed in the meeting. , Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, gas refill at Rs 450 for women. The status of procurement of wheat under the Pradhan Mantri Janaman Mission and ongoing activities to strengthen the targeted public distribution system were also presented and discussed. Principal Secretary Food and Civil Supplies Mrs. Rashmi Arun Shami, Principal Secretary Mr. Manish Singh and other officials were present.
