A case of gang rape of a Dalit girl has come to light in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer district. It is alleged that five youths gang-raped her. First the accused brought the girl to Jaisalmer city. Here he was forced to drink alcohol. While she was intoxicated, the accused themselves consumed alcohol, then gang-raped the girl in a drunken state. Currently, on the girl’s complaint, the police have registered an FIR under the SC/ST Act against five accused and arrested four accused.
On Wednesday evening, a 19-year-old Dalit girl reached the Jaisalmer Women’s Police Station. The girl told the police about the incident of gang rape that happened to her. The girl said that she lives in a rented room in a village in Sadar Police Station area. He studies in a village school here. Last month, on August 28, five youths from the same village forcibly took her with them to the city. In a house there, the young men first made her drink, then got drunk and gang-raped her. The youths kept him captive for four-five days. He then threw her out of the village on September 2 and fled.

Giving information about the matter, ASP Priyanka Kumwat said that the victim girl is a resident of another district. He studies in a village in Jaisalmer. The girl has alleged that five youths brought her from a village in Jaisalmer to Jaisalmer city and gang-raped her after getting her drunk. It is being said that all the five youths are residents of the same village in Jaisalmer. ASP said a case has been registered and four youths have been arrested. The search for the youth is on. The investigation of this case has been handed over to ASP Rajesh Sharma.

On September 2, the girl was found drunk by the villagers of the village. He was brought to Jawahir Hospital by Sadar Police Station and treated. After treatment, he was kept at Sakhi Center. After her family members came, the girl complained of gang-rape by five youths from the same village. Currently, the police have registered an FIR against five accused under the SC/ST Act and have arrested four accused. The search for one accused is on.
