Heavy rain is expected in some areas soon. But after 4 pm the problem can increase. Because according to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of unexpected rain with thunder and lightning after 4 pm. And this trend may continue till next day i.e. 8th July morning. Delhi-NCR recorded a temperature of 29 degrees Celsius this morning. Rainfall: 16 percent is raining. The humidity is 88 percent. While the wind is blowing at a speed of 6 kilometers per hour. If we talk about the areas of Uttar Pradesh adjacent to Delhi, the temperature has been recorded here at 26 degree Celsius. Many areas received up to 42 percent rainfall. The air humidity is 94 percent and the wind is blowing at a speed of 3 kilometers per hour. The situation is such that the entire Delhi-NCR was dark in the morning due to thick clouds. But now slowly the clouds are falling and the darkness is also disappearing.

As for rest of UP, IMD has notified Azamgarh, Ballia, Mau, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabirnagar, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Bahraich, Sravasti and Lakhimpur Kheri, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur. , Bareilly, Pilibhit along with chance of rain in western UP today.

Apart from this, heavy rain is likely in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In particular, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert in the districts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand due to more than 12 cm of rain on Wednesday.

Flood threat in Himachal Pradesh

Seven out of 12 districts of Himachal Pradesh – Kangra, Sirmaur, Chamba, Shimla, Kullu, Kinnaur and Mandi – are at risk of flooding due to incessant rains for the past few days. The Meteorological Department has issued an ‘orange’ warning of heavy rains and thunderstorms at various places in the state on August 9 and 10. Along with this, a ‘yellow’ alert has been issued for heavy rains for the rest of the days till August 12. Floods and landslides blocked 53 roads in various parts of the hill state.

Ganga-Yamuna rivers flow

Similar is the situation in Uttarakhand. Here, the water level of Ganga and Yamuna rivers has increased due to heavy rains. Haridwar, Rishikesh and Dehradun are on the banks of river Ganga. The Meteorological Department has warned that devotees should avoid going to the river bank in such circumstances. Usually many accidents happen due to strong flow of Ganga. In areas like Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri, the process of mountain erosion is going on. The reason is heavy rain. It is also raining in South Uttarakhand. But the condition of North Uttarakhand is worse.

Status of other states

If we look at the rest of the states, the Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains in Madhya Maharashtra, West Madhya Pradesh and some places of Gujarat, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal during August 7 to 9. Chhattisgarh will witness heavy rains on August 7 while East Madhya Pradesh may receive heavy rains on August 7 and 8. Heavy rain is likely in Goa and Konkan from August 7 to 10. Northeast regions including Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, Manipur and Meghalaya are likely to receive heavy rainfall from August 7 to 10.
