Delhi: A Student Preparing For UPSC Died Due To Electric Shock Due To Inundation Of Rainwater At The Gate.

A student preparing for UPSC was electrocuted in the Ranjit Nagar police station area of ​​capital Delhi on Monday. It was reported to the police that the student was electrocuted, after which the police reached the spot. The student was clinging to the iron gate. No one came forward to save the student for fear of electrocution due to waterlogging. By the time the police reached the scene, it was too late. The student’s body turned completely blue and he died.

According to information, Ranjit Nagar Police Station received information at around 2.43 pm that a person had died of electrocution near Power Jim Patel Nagar Metro Station. When some people saw the student and went near him, they found the road flooded. The student was electrocuted and trapped in the iron gate. Police have identified the deceased student as Nilesh Rai. The student was a resident of Gazipur district of UP. 26-year-old Nilesh cleared the UPSC prelims.

A student was preparing for mains while staying in Patel Nagar. According to eyewitnesses, Nilesh was returning from a library in Rajendra Nagar on Monday. Then the street next to the PG was filled with rain water. Nilesh was holding the iron gate to escape from the water. Current was flowing in the iron gate. Nilesh was electrocuted and died. Hearing Nilesh’s voice, people around him reached him. The place where Nilesh felt the current was filled with water.

Due to waterlogging, people were scared that electric shock could also occur in the water. Due to which people could not save Nilesh’s life. Let us tell you that this is not the first case when a person has died due to electric shock. Attempts were made to speak to Nilesh’s family but they are in such a state of shock that they are not in a condition to speak. However, a mountain of grief fell on Nilesh’s family. He refused to appear on camera but said his death was due to negligence and should be investigated.
