Development, Employment And Dialogue… CM Yogi Is Laying The Political Chessboard For The By-elections.

In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the biggest blow to the BJP was in Uttar Pradesh, after which all eyes are now on the by-elections. The by-elections to be held on 10 seats in the state have questioned the credibility of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This is the reason why he has already started preparing the political ground for the BJP by visiting the by-election districts. For this, CM Yogi is laying the political chessboard for the by-elections through development, employment and dialogue. In such a situation, it remains to be seen how effective this step of BJP will be in the by-elections.

By-elections are to be held on 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, including Mirapur, Ghaziabad, Aligarh ki Khair, Karhal, Kundarki, Phulupar, Milkipur, Katehari, Mazwan and Sisamau seats. In which nine seats have become vacant due to MLAs elected as Lok Sabha MPs in 2024, while one seat has fallen vacant due to the conviction of SP MLA Irfan Solanki. In the 2022 elections, three of these seats were won by BJP and five seats were held by SP. Apart from this, RLD and Nishad Party had one MLA each.

By-election mission launched

The BJP’s strategy is to save its three seats in the by-elections and equalize its losses by winning the SP-dominated seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha. BJP’s concern about these ten seats is more because BJP got less votes than SP in six seats in the Lok Sabha elections. The by-elections to be held on 10 seats are being considered as the semi-finals of the 2027 assembly elections, due to which CM Yogi has embarked on a mission to create a political climate on the ground.

CM Yogi is on tour

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started writing the script of BJP’s victory by visiting different districts from August 15. By organizing employment fairs in the districts, the means of connecting the youth have been created, while the Chief Minister is trying to remove the resentment of the people by giving the gift of development. CM Yogi started his journey from Ambedkar Nagar district on August 17. After this he visited Ayodhya on August 18, Muzaffarnagar on August 22, Ghaziabad on August 23, Mainpuri on August 27, Aligarh on August 28 and Kanpur on August 29. Will go to Moradabad on 2nd September and Phulpur on 3rd September.

CM Yogi is organizing employment fairs in those districts of Uttar Pradesh where by-elections are to be held to assembly seats. CM Yogi has organized employment fairs in these districts and distributed appointment letters to the youth. On the spot appointment letter has also been distributed to 5 thousand to 17 thousand youth in each district. Apart from this, CM Yogi is also inaugurating and laying foundation stones of development projects in the districts he is visiting. Besides, certificates and tablets of beneficiary schemes are being distributed to the students.

Development stake, employment

The BJP is gearing up to turn the political tables on the Uttar Pradesh by-elections with the formula of a job fair and CM Yogi’s visit. The by-election is becoming a credibility question for the BJP. The reason for BJP’s defeat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections was the employment issue. Youth resentment was the main reason for BJP’s defeat. Because of this, CM Yogi has started a job fair to help the youth. Thus, by organizing employment fairs in the by-election districts, CM Yogi is not only distributing appointment letters but also making efforts for development and dialogue.

Congress and SP were targeted

CM Yogi will address a large public meeting in the districts he is visiting. Meanwhile, everyone from SP to Congress is targeting Yogi Adityanath. Not only this, they are also busy giving a political edge to the agenda of Hindutva. Bets are also being made to unite Hindu votes scattered across castes. CM Yogi is also meeting and interacting with the leaders of the by-election seats in whatever district he is visiting. Thus, CM Yogi is in full active mode for the bypolls.

BJP active for by-elections

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has won these 10 seats. Along with setting the equations at the organizational level, Yogi is also laying the chessboard at the governance level. Out of these ten seats, five seats are considered strong seats of the SP. Karhal, Kundarki, Katehari, Milkipur and Sisamau seats are considered to be very challenging for BJP. Not only that Mazwan, Mirapur and Phulpur seats also do not look easy for BJP.

This is the reason why from CM Yogi Adityanath to Deputy CM and State President of BJP both have taken the responsibility of two assembly seats each. Apart from this, CM Yogi has also kept his cabinet ministers on the front. Want to see how BJP wins in bypolls?
