Devkinandan Thakur’s Anger Flared Up On The Kolkata Rape Case, Said – Even People Sitting In High Positions…

Devkinandan Thakur Maharaj expressed anger over the incident in West Bengal

Expressing anger over the brutality meted out to a woman doctor in Kolkata, West Bengal, Devkinandan Maharaj said that those in responsible positions are unable to protect the dignity of daughters and women in his state. Those who do this, those who avoid punishing the criminals for their wrongdoing, should resign. For the Chief Minister, he said that Mamata Banerjee is a woman herself, she should know how the victim’s daughter should be treated.

Devkinandan Maharaj, who returned home on Tuesday after delivering a Bhagwat sermon from Canada, while talking to the media at Priyakantju temple, said that the Governor and the President should take action in this matter and fix the responsibility of the government. When daughters are not safe in places like hospitals, what will be the condition of the general public? He said that things are not going well for Sanatani in Bengal. If we don’t learn from Bangladesh, one day we will have to take sides.

Question on delay in proceedings

Devaki Nandan Maharaj has also expressed his reaction on the delay in the proceedings. In the Kolkata case, the Supreme Court accepted that the police had delayed filing the FIR. He said that why there is a delay in filing the FIR of atrocity on daughters? Character development is very necessary to deal with such incidents.

The daughters asked pointed questions in the sermon

Referring to an incident, Devaki Nandan Maharaj said that a daughter who came to Canada to listen to the story asked him the question that you preach here on culture, what is happening to your daughters in India? Such incidents happening in the country are making us unresponsive, what should we respond in such a situation? When such incidents happen, they are not limited to the state or the chief minister. Even people outside the country are asking why this is happening in India.
