The husband committed suicide after going to his wife’s maternal uncle’s house in Vaishali, Bihar. The incident took place in Belsar police station area. The husband had forbidden the wife to go to her parents’ house on Rakshabandhan but she did not comply and left. Frustrated by his wife’s refusal to go to her parents’ house and her husband’s disobedience, she committed suicide. When the family reached home, the youth was found hanging. The hanged people fainted and started crying. Hearing the sound of crying, the surrounding people also reached the spot. The information about the incident was given to the police.
Laldev Sahni of Vaishali district was furious after his wife went to his maternal uncle’s house. After which he hanged himself. 33-year-old Laldev Sahni, son of Ram Deni Sahni, resident of Nagma village in Belsar police station area of Vaishali district, has committed suicide by hanging himself. Regarding the incident, the family members of the deceased said that the deceased had forbidden his wife to go to her maternal uncle’s house. The deceased told his wife that he had no money, he would leave after Rakshabandhan, but the wife went to her maternal uncle’s house in the evening.

After informing the police about the incident, the police took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem. Police have started investigation into the incident. Regarding the incident, Pankaj Kumar, in-charge of Belsar police station, said that there was a quarrel between the husband and wife. The husband asked the wife to go to her parents’ house on Rakshabandhan but the wife did not agree, so the husband committed suicide by hanging himself. Following the incident, the Rakshabandhan festival in the family turned into sadness.
