On July 30, an incident took place in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, which shocked everyone. Here a person booked an autorickshaw to go home. As soon as the man sat in the auto, he saw a photo of a girl there. The person was shocked to see the photo of the girl. He asked the auto driver- who is this girl? Answer received – Sir, this is my niece. Then the person said – No, you are lying. This is my daughter. After this there was a lot of fighting between the two. Now the matter has reached the police.

According to the information, three and a half years ago Avinash Prasad’s wife Sangeeta gave birth to twins in a nursing home here. The people at the nursing home then told him that only the boy was alive among his twins. The girl has died. The family members then believed the words of the nursing home residents. But now when Avinash saw the picture of the girl in the auto, he claimed that she was his daughter. Residents of nursing home accused of selling baby girl.

Avinash says the girl’s face is exactly like him. The girl’s twin brother also has a similar appearance. In this matter Sangeeta Maurya alias Sangeeta Prasad (28) has filed a complaint in Sidgora Police Station. The couple is also seeking a DNA test. The body of the girl was not handed over

Avinash’s wife told the police – I am a resident of Sidgora Mithila Colony. I got pregnant in the year 2020. My delivery took place on 7th January 2021 at a nursing home in Sidhgora. First a son was born, then a daughter. Hospital people said that the daughter is dead. When we asked for our daughter’s body, they did not give it. We also thought that maybe this really happened. After this we came home with our son.

Accused of selling a child

Sangeeta said – My husband Avinash was standing in Baridih Chowk on 30 July 2024. He booked an auto to come home. In the auto was a picture of a girl who looked exactly like his son. When the auto driver was asked about the photo, he said it was his niece. Avinash then suspected that it was his twin daughter, who was found dead. When he told the auto driver that she was his twin daughter, the auto driver argued and drove away. Later he also removed the photo of the girl from his auto. We strongly suspect that the hospital people have sold our daughter. We want DNA test done on that girl. She is our only daughter. We want it back.
