Central funds are being misused

He said that this opinion is directly derived from the analysis given by competent authorities like Reserve Bank of India and Comptroller and Auditor General. He said that I am sorry to say that there is an economic crisis in West Bengal. Funds are being misused, poverty alleviation money is being used for other purposes and the government is not paying attention to it.

The governor said he sought the white paper because he came to know about the financial crisis in the state. He wants to see what the financial condition of the bankrupt state is.

Demanded to release the white paper

He said that constitutionally the Governor is competent and it is the responsibility of the Governor to get information from the Chief Minister on any aspect of administration. It is mandatory for the Chief Minister to provide such information to the Governor. I will wait for it. It’s good to come. If it doesn’t come, I have methods for it.

Questions have been raised by the Governor regarding the law and order of the state administration. Upset with CM Mamata Banerjee’s statement, the Governor has filed a defamation case against her in court. The matter is currently pending in court.
