In view of the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra, an important meeting of the Shiv Shiv Party was held at the government residence ‘Varsha’ under the leadership of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde himself attended this meeting. In this meeting, the strategy for the upcoming assembly elections was discussed. The meeting lasted for about 4 hours. All Shiv Sena MLAs, Ministers and other key officials were present in this meeting. It was decided in this meeting that Shiv Sena is preparing to field candidates on a total of 110 seats in the assembly elections.
Eknath Shinde has appealed to all MLAs to focus on their respective constituencies. Also, Eknath Shinde appealed to all MLAs to keep in mind that everyone has to fight the election with full strength.
Eknath Shinde has said that if the seat has to be changed, then one has to be mentally prepared for it. Candidates can be changed on some seats
Eknath Shinde indicated in the meeting that candidates can be changed on some seats. Earlier in the Lok Sabha elections, some candidates were seen changing hands. The same was seen not only in Mahayuti but also in Mahavikas Aghadi. The Congress has claimed the Kolhapur seat of the Thackeray group.
In Kolhapur, the leaders of the Thackeray group could not oppose the Congress. Because Shahu Maharaj, a descendant of the Chhatrapati family, was a Chhatrapati candidate there. But in Sangli some difficulties were faced in the matter of exchange of candidates or exchange of seats.
Shinde is preparing to field candidates on 110 seats
110 assembly observers are to be appointed by Shiv Sena. Besides, in-charges have also been appointed. He directed to promote government schemes in all assembly constituencies.
