A former councilor was shot dead in Maharashtra’s Pune on Sunday. The name of the deceased former councilor is being revealed as Vanraj Andekar. According to information received, five bullets were fired at the former councilor one after the other. After the shooting, Vanraj Andekar was admitted to hospital in a critical condition, where he died.

According to information received from the police, Vanraj Andekar was shot dead in front of Doke Training in Nana Peth at around 8:30 a.m. due to a domestic dispute. Vanraj fell there when the bullet hit. Vanraj Andekar was admitted to KEM Hospital for treatment, where he died.

The incident took place in front of Doke Talami in Nana Peth, which is always known as a congested area of ​​Pune. It is learned that the lights in that area were switched off before the attack on Vanraj Andekar. After this, three-four people on a two-wheeler saw that he was alone. and attacked them. Vanraj was first attacked with a crowbar and then shot. Vanraj Andekar was lying in a pool of blood when the assailants ran away.
