Sana Maqbool has won the trophy of Bigg Boss OTT 3. In the grand finale of Anil Kapoor’s show, Sana was directly competing with her special rapper friend ‘Nazi the Baa’, as Anil Kapoor announced Sana Maqbool and Nazi as the top 2 contestants of the show after Ranveer Shourie’s eviction. In an exclusive conversation with TV9 Hindi Digital, Sana said that she was very happy after reaching the last stage of the show with Nezi and would have been equally happy if Nezi had also won the show. During this time, Sana has also opened up about her future plans and her relationship with Ranveer Shorey.
Sana, you have always complained that no one listened to you, but now the public has listened to you, how do you feel now?
I am very happy and people have accepted my party and love me a lot. The most important thing is that the public understood me and for that I am very grateful to them. At first I felt that people did not understand me. This journey was not easy for me, stones were thrown in my way, people were beaten, some competitors were saying very good and bad things to me. But it is said that if you really want something, everything is possible. If your intentions are strong, the way opens before you.
You thought yourself strong. But you were targeted on ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ from the very first week, did this affect your mental health?
Over the weekend Anil Kapoor used to come to meet us. He was no less than a teacher for us. Teachers tell us where we are doing wrong. When I got to know from him that my personality looks very confusing from the outside and people don’t understand it, I thought how can I improve it? I was targeted a lot on ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’. Many things were said to me. At such times, your heart will break and you will not know what to do next. That’s when you need someone of your own. During that difficult time, Vishal Pandey, Lavkesh Kataria, Shivani and Naji were my four friends, who stood holding my hand.

Both Baa (rapper Nazi) and Bame (Sana Maqbool) were on stage, the winner of Bigg Boss was about to be announced, what was going through your mind?
When Nezi and I became top 2, I was very happy. I also told Nezi that Bam, I will be very happy if you also win the Bigg Boss trophy. I really wanted Naji to win this trophy, Naji also told me whether you win or me, the trophy is going to come to Hood (Mumbai). I also said this on the stage of Bigg Boss that both have reached the last stage of the finale and I am very happy about it.
What was the toughest moment in the Bigg Boss house?
There came a time in this house when the whole house turned against me, it was very difficult for me. Slowly all your friends were leaving you, it was hard for me to see them go away like this. No one understands you, people are putting you down, your attitude is being questioned. I felt wrong that even if I say good things about someone, people still judge me.
Ranveer Shorey has said for you that you are not a worthy winner of Bigg Boss.
I myself will not tell anyone about deserving and non-deserving. But I must say that the trophy is in my hands and the public has made me the winner. For those who are questioning my victory, my trophy is the answer.

Sana, what will be your future plan now?
There are no future plans, I am going to get married soon and now we will let you know as soon as the date of marriage comes.
Sana, you have been called naag many times in this show. You too have accepted this title with great pride, so will you be the next Naagin on Colors TV?
I wish I could be Naagin in Colors TV serial, that would be the perfect answer to those who call me Naagin in Bigg Boss.
