Acharya Pramod Krishnam says that the film is against what is written in our scriptures and hurts religious sentiments. The film is against the belief and concept of Lord Kalki and what is written in the Puranas. He said, “We have some objections and those objections have been recorded in the notice. He said he would like to request all filmmakers to learn to respect the faith of Hindus. However, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has released in theaters on June 27. The film has earned Rs 1000 crores worldwide in just 15 days, surpassing Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’.
