The culture and civilization of Sanatan and its scriptures should not be tampered with.
Playing with scriptures is not permitted – Acharya Pramod
Acharya Pramod Krishnam says that the film is against what is written in our scriptures and hurts religious sentiments. The film is against the belief and concept of Lord Kalki and what is written in the Puranas. He said, “We have some objections and those objections have been recorded in the notice. The reply to the notice is awaited. At any cost we cannot allow anyone to play with our scriptures.

Acharya Pramod further expressed his thoughts saying, “Playing with the faith of Hindus has become a hobby and a fashion for filmmakers. Monks are depicted as devils. The rest is shown with great goodwill. You are allowed to have fun. Freedom of expression does not mean you should play with our faith.
He said he would like to request all filmmakers to learn to respect the faith of Hindus. However, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has released in theaters on June 27. The film has earned Rs 1000 crores worldwide in just 15 days, surpassing Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’.
