Six people were killed and around 20 injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in Madhya Pradesh’s Maihar district. He said the bus was on its way to Nagpur from Prayagraj when it collided with a dumper truck loaded with stones at around 11 pm on Saturday near Nadan Dehat police station, about 25 km from the district headquarters.
Maihar Superintendent of Police Sudhir Aggarwal said that the condition of six injured people is said to be critical and they have been referred to Satna. He said that the rest are undergoing treatment in hospitals in Mehr and Amarpatan. Sudhir Agarwal said that as soon as the information about the accident was received, senior officials reached the spot and started rescue work.
