First Danish Then Khachariavas… What Equation Is Sachin Pilot Setting Up In Rajasthan?

First sharing the stage with Danish Abrar and then coming to meet Pratap Singh Khachariawas’ mother.. Sachin Pilot’s political stance has hit headlines in Rajasthan’s political circles on Monday. The reason is Abrar and Pratap Khachariawas previous enmity with Sachin Pilot. In 2020, due to resort politics, the distance between Abrar and Khachariavas increased significantly with the pilot. Its impact was also seen on the political career of these leaders.

When Abrar and Khachariawasi lost elections, Pilot stayed away from Rajasthan politics, but now seeing the way Pilot is mixing with these leaders, the debate has started that why is Pilot finally reconciling with his old cronies in the seat?

Danish raised slogans of Pilot Zindabad

On Monday, former MLA Danish Abrar also attended the function of installing a statue of Rajesh Pilot at Bonli in Sawai Madhopur. When Abrar got a chance to speak, the first thing he did was talk to Sachin Pilot to vent his anger. After this, pilots started raising slogans of Jindabar from Abrar stage.

Abrar was once considered a close leader of Pilot in Rajasthan, but the two fell apart after the resort politics of 2020. Pilot supporters allege that when Sachin besieged the Gehlot government on the issues, Abrar hit back.

After this, Abrar was out of the pilot camp. Abrar was sure to get a ticket from Sawai Madhopur in the 2023 assembly elections, but the pilot did not rally in his support. Abrar traveled from Delhi to Jaipur to meet the pilot.

The impact of this gap was also seen in Abrar’s election results. Abrar Sawai lost badly in the Madhopur seat, even though the seat is dominated by Gurjars and Muslims. After the defeat, Abrar was in the political background.

Met the Khachariya residents, the complaints were removed?

Sachin Pilot reached the hospital on Monday evening to see the mother of former minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas. Khachariavasi has also shared a post about this on social media. Before 2020, Khachariavas was counted as a trusted leader of the pilot.

When the government came to power in Rajasthan in 2018, Khachariawas was made a minister from the pilot quota. He was given the command of the powerful transport department, but after the resort politics in 2020, the distance between the Khachariyas and the pilots widened.

Khachariawas contested the 2023 election from the Civil Lines seat, but did not win. Congress gave Khachariawas a ticket from Jaipur Lok Sabha in 2024, but this time too he could not win. Since then, Khacharia residents were walking on the sidelines.

Now the question- which equation is suitable for pilots?

Sachin Pilot’s comment ‘Now I don’t know who will sit on whose chair’ went viral in response to Govind Singh Dotasara’s taunt at a Congress event in Jaipur. After this comment, seeing the way Pilot is narrating to the old leaders, a discussion has started that what equation is Pilot creating in Rajasthan?

Pilot is currently the National General Secretary of the Congress and is in charge of Chhattisgarh, but he has often talked about doing politics only in Rajasthan. It is being said that Pilot is eyeing the post of state president, but Dotasara is proving to be a challenge for him.

Till now there were only two factions openly in Congress in Rajasthan. One by Ashok Gehlot and the other by Sachin Pilot, but after the Lok Sabha elections, state president Govind Singh Dotsara has become stronger. In the future, if he becomes more entrenched in his position, it will not be easy to push him aside. There are two reasons for this-

1. Gobind Singh Dotasara hails from the Jat community and makes up about 10 percent of the population in Rajasthan, almost double the population of Sachin Pilot’s Gurjar community. Dotasara is very popular in Shekhawati, a Jat stronghold.

2. Govindsinh Dotasara also has the support of Ashok Gehlot. In 2020, on the insistence of Ashok Gehlot, the high command handed over the president’s chair to Dotasara. Dotasara was then a minister in the Gehlot government.
