The gangster was found hanging at his aunt’s house in the Barhalganj police station area of ​​Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur district. First he extorted money from people by cheating. Due to extreme pressure, she suddenly committed suicide at night by hanging herself from a fan at her aunt’s house. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem.

Kundan Patel, a resident of Pandepar village in Kaudiram police station area, was accused in several forgery cases. The people of the area complained against him. He used to extort money from someone in the name of job and from someone in the name of getting land. Later he neither returned the money nor got the land. In such a situation, when the people of the area kept complaining about him, the police increased their strictness and took action against the gangster on 14 September 2023. The investigation of the case was handed over to the Belipar police station by the SSP. In such a situation, pressure began to increase on the police. Despite this, he was not able to be arrested, so the SSP announced a reward of Rs 10,000 on him. He started getting worried because of the police raid. To avoid the police, he stayed outside the district and took shelter with relatives, four days ago, he reached his aunt’s house in Barhalganj town. He took his uncle Shivnarayan’s bike and left the house on the pretext of some work, but did not return till late night.

A body was found in the yard

His mobile was ringing when his aunt called him, but he didn’t pick up the phone. The distraught aunt and her family searched for him for several nights, but there was no trace of him. His uncle Shiv Narayan was going to Samsarpar village to collect milk and met his father on the way. Where a tin shed has been built. When he went there to check on him, he found Kundan hanging with a fan attached to the tin shed rod of the house.

Seeing this scene, he screamed. He called the people around. Police was also informed. Police have sent the body for postmortem. Regarding this, SP South Jitendra Kumar said that gangster action has been taken against the accused. In this regard, the police of Belipar police station conducted an investigation. He was constantly absconding. The police were also trying to catch him, but to escape, he sometimes ran away to his relatives, sometimes to other districts and sometimes to other states. In such a situation, the police were continuously investigating. Police do this to everyone after registering a case. This is a normal process. Why did he take such a step? The case will be investigated based on evidence and facts.
