A Pune court on Friday granted bail to former probationary IAS officer Pooja Khedkar’s mother Manorama Khedkar in a case of threatening a farmer. However, the court granted him this bail on several conditions. Also, the court ordered him not to leave Pune district without permission.

Manorama Khedkar’s lawyer Sudhir Shah said that Additional Sessions Judge AN Mar has granted bail. Let us tell you that a video of Manorama Khedkar and her husband Dilip Khedkar went viral on social media. After which the Pune Rural Police started searching for him.

A case was registered against Manorama Khedkar

In this video, Manorama was seen threatening some people with a gun over a land dispute in Dhadvali village of Mulshi Tehsil, Pune. After the video of this incident came to light, the police registered a case against Manorama Khedkar. After which now the court has granted bail to Manorama with conditions.

Bail granted on these terms

The court awarded Rs. Bail was given on a personal bond of 50,000. Also ordered the accused not to try to contact the complainant and witnesses or to put any kind of pressure on them. Also, do not enter the disputed land within the limits of Pound Police Station until the investigation is completed. Cooperate fully with the investigation. Apart from this, the court has also banned people from leaving Pune district without permission.

Dilip Khedkar got anticipatory bail

Paud police registered a case against the Khedkar couple and five others under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including sections 307, 144, 147 and 506, as well as the Arms Act. Manorama was caught from a lodge in Hirkaniwadi village near Mahad in Raigad district. Dilip Khedkar has been granted anticipatory bail in this case.
