Ajay Devgan Upcoming Movies: Two films of Ajay Devgn have been released so far in the year 2024. The first film was ‘Shaitaan’, which was released in the month of March and the second was ‘Meydan’ which was released in April. ‘Shaitaan’ did well at the box office and earned Rs 150 crore at the domestic box office alone, but the magic of ‘Meydan’ did not work and the business was only Rs 52.29 crore. The tag of flop was attached with the name of the film.
He is coming up with his next film on 2nd August. Name- ‘Where else had the courage’. Tabu and Jimmy Shergill will be seen along with Ajay in this picture. The list of Ajay’s upcoming films is quite long. Currently, he has four more big films in his account, in which he will be seen in the coming time. All these are sequels of Ajay’s old films. Let’s know how far the work of those upcoming films has reached.
1. Singham Again
The biggest film in this list is ‘Singham Next’. The previous two parts of the film, directed by Rohit Shetty, did good business. Now it’s time for the third installment. A report in Dainik Bhaskar says that ‘Singham Again’ has a lot of VFX work. The shooting of the film has been completed, but it has not yet been taken to the editing table. The film is going to release on the occasion of Diwali. In the same report, information about his remaining four films has also been shared.
2. Raid 2
Earlier ‘Raid 2’ was slated to release on Diwali and ‘Singham Again’ was slated to release in August. However, while the Diwali slot was booked for ‘Singham’, now ‘Raid 2’ will arrive next year. The shooting of this film is almost complete. There are still three-four days of work left. It is being said that Ajay will be able to complete the rest of the shoot only after two months due to being busy with other films. It is being said that the post-production of this film like editing and VFX will also take a lot of time.
3. Chief’s son 2
One name in this list is also the sequel of the film ‘Son of Sardar’ released in 2012. The first part did a business of more than 100 crore rupees in India. Now he has started the second part. Recently, Ajay has started shooting for this film in Edinburgh. His focus will be on this film for the next two months, after which he will work on other films.
4. Give love 2
‘De De Pyaar De De 2’ is also a name in the list of Ajay’s upcoming films. Some shooting of this picture has been done and some parts are yet to be shot. First he will shoot for ‘Sun Offer Sardar 2’ for 2 months, after which he will return for ‘De De Pyaar De De 2’. After completing all his work, Ajay will rejoin ‘Singham Again’ and complete his post-production work, so that the picture can release on time.
‘Singham Again’ is the biggest franchise film of Ajay’s career. Released in 2011, its first part did more than 100 crore business. ‘Singham Returns’ came in 2014, earning the tag of a superhit with a collection of Rs 140 crore. Now its third installment will release this year, however, the rest of Ajay’s films in the list will have to wait till next year.
