Ghazipur: A Criminal Carrying A Bounty Of Rs 1 Lakh, Who Was Injured In An Encounter With The STF, Was Wanted For The Murder Of Two RPF Constables.

A wanted criminal in the killing of two RPF constables Javed Khan and Pramod Kumar in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh in August was critically injured in a police encounter with the Uttar Pradesh STF and the Noida unit of the Ghazipur police team.

A senior officer of the Uttar Pradesh Police said that the injured criminal has been sent to a hospital for treatment. He said he was identified as Mohammad Zahid alias Sonu, a resident of Patna (Bihar) and had a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh.

Killing of two RPF constables

Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order and STF Amitabh Yash said that on the night of August 19-20, two RPF constables Javed Khan and Pramod were trying to stop illegal liquor smuggling in Train No. 15631 Barmer Guwahati Express, during which the liquor smugglers brutally beat both the constables. and threw them from the moving train, resulting in the death of both the constables.

A case of kidnapping, assault and smuggling of liquor

ADG Law and Order and STF said Mohammad Zahid was wanted in the case and a reward of Rs 1 lakh was announced on him. Let us tell you that the wanted accused in the murder case of two RPF constables had an encounter with the team of UPSTF and Noida unit of Gazipur Police at Dildar Nagar police station, in which one miscreant was seriously injured. Several cases of kidnapping, assault and liquor smuggling have been registered against Mohammad Zahid.
